OLYMPIC NEWS from an INNOVATION HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE
2019 Innovation High School Graduate Cheickna Traore is currently competing in Track and Field as a graduate student at Penn State.Cheickna had a historic Division III Track career at Ramapo College, breaking several schools and national sprint records and winning multiple National Championships before transferring for 2023-2024.
He finished All-American in the Winter NCAA Division 1 in the 200 and 60-meter dashes.
This past weekend, he ran 19.93 in the 200-meter dash, which is ranked 5th in the world and qualified him to compete for his home country, Ivory Coast, in this Summer's Paris Olympics
