Create a one of a kind jamboard showing all the things you love about your Dad. Some of us might not have a father with us but I'm sure we have plenty of family members who love us and care for us.  Make that jamboard for that special person in your life. 

Today, we're going to learn about reading nonfiction books and getting the information we need when reading them from BrainPop. 


**If you missed last week's class and you don't have a brainpop account, please see last week's lesson for directions on how to create a brainpop account. 

There are 2 links below, the assignment for Brainpop and the nonfiction book we are going to read from Epic. 

On Brainpop, log in with your username and password and head over to the dashboard to check your assignment.
1. Watch the video.
2. Complete the quiz.
3. Write about the nonfiction story you read on Epic. Make sure to write the title of the book and 3 facts about the book you read.

Who is Frida?

She is one of Mexico's greatest artists. She was born on July 6, 1907 in Coyocoan, Mexico City, Mexico.
She grew up in the family's home colored blue and it was later called Blue House or Casa Azul.

Frida drew a lot of self portraits. Can you draw a self portrait? A self portrait is a drawing of yourself. Share your drawing by sending me a picture.
